Courses Taught: 2143, 4033, 5203 James Boardman has past experience with Telecom in the computer science field.  He also has experience with Taproot Networks as a consultant, PowerUp Networks as a senior network architect, Nortel Networks as a network architect, and the US Air Force as a retired lieutenant colonel.  In the Air Force he served on the White House Communications Agency and was the 3rd Communications Squadron Commander. Boardman’s interests include network security, broadband security, wireless communications and working with telecom networks.  Outside of being a professor Boardman works with boy scouts, cub scouts, youth soccer, plays golf, enjoys fly fishing and skiing.
